Newest rover set to launch its mini helicopter on Mars

NASA's Perseverance Rover on Mars is tasked with sending back data to check for any system damage after its journey. The Rover will then update its software to navigate Mars' surface. It will take pictures to assess the terrain and conduct a helicopter experiment with a mini chopper for the first powered flight on another world. The Rover's mission includes exploring a delta to find signs of past life, sampling sediment for biological signatures.
