Argentina has intensified the search for the missing submarine San Juan, which has been out of contact for six days with 44 crew members on board. International collaboration and improved weather conditions have aided the search efforts. A drifting inflatable raft was spotted, and two ships attempted a rescue amid a storm. White flares were seen, but they are not believed to be from the San Juan, which uses red and green flares. The submarine has enough oxygen for seven days and had reported battery issues before its last communication.
