VOICED : Sindicatos vuelven a marchar en Chile por mejoras laborales

Thousands of Chileans marched in Santiago, organized by the Central Unitaria de Trabajadores, demanding better union rights and changes to a recently passed labor reform. The reform aimed to empower unions, but was weakened by the Constitutional Tribunal after right-wing opposition. This was the second such demonstration this year, coinciding with a national strike call that saw limited participation. Protesters also demanded changes to the private pension system and faster constitutional reforms to replace the one from Pinochet's dictatorship. Students joined the protests, announcing plans to intensify their actions to push for educational reform.
