Some American Families To Receive Child Tax Credit Soon

The Biden administration announced that 39 million families will receive their first monthly tax credit on July 15th. These payments, part of the $1.9 trillion COVID relief plan, provide up to $300 per month for each child under 6 and up to $250 for each child over 6. Families without direct deposit will receive a check or debit card by mail.
