VOICED : Tension en la frontera con Hungria tras cierre de frontera

On Tuesday, Hungary sealed its border with Serbia, blocking migrants and arresting 60 for damaging the fence. This action is part of a new law imposing five-year prison sentences for such offenses. Hungary also plans to build a new fence along its Romanian border. Other European countries, including Slovakia, the Czech Republic, and Poland, are considering similar border closures amid the refugee crisis. Despite the influx of refugees, mainly Syrians, the EU failed to implement mandatory quotas for accepting 120,000 more refugees, in addition to the 40,000 agreed upon in July. The flow of people fleeing war and poverty continues unabated.
