VOICED : Mujer T representara a transgeneros de Bogota

Pamela Mena, at 33, is the new spokesperson for LGBTQ+ public policy in Bogotá, having won the Mujer T 2014 title. Her main goal is to reduce child prostitution in Colombia's capital and share stories from her community. The Mujer T event, organized by Bogotá's administration, included a musical show and aims to empower transgender individuals. Mena, who transitioned at 10, will advocate for transgender rights. Over 50% of transgender people in Bogotá face discrimination and abuse.
