Pfizer COVID-19 Pill Reduced Deaths, Hospitalizations by 89%

Pfizer's study on 775 unvaccinated adults shows an 89% reduction in death rates. The company plans to seek FDA authorization for its COVID-19 treatment. Currently, all COVID-19 treatments in the US require a shot or IV. The FDA is also reviewing a COVID pill by Merck, which showed strong initial results.
