Patient remains awake during 90 minutes of CPR

A 60.9-year-old man in Copenhagen experienced cardiac arrest after hospital admission for indigestion. Despite 90 minutes of CPR and several epinephrine shots, his heart remained nonfunctional, causing repeated loss of consciousness. The medical team ceased resuscitation efforts, and the man eventually died.
