Coronavirus Could Lead IOC To Cancel Tokyo Games

If the games cannot occur in Tokyo, they will be canceled rather than postponed or relocated. Athletes are advised to continue training as the Olympics are still planned to proceed. The coronavirus, originating in China, has caused over 2,700 deaths and infected 80,000 people globally, with Japan reporting four deaths. The Tokyo Olympics are set to open on July 24th, with 11,000 athletes expected to compete.
