Recycled boat sails to bring awareness about pollution

The Flip Floppy is a 10-meter sailboat made from over 10 tons of recycled plastic, including flip flops, bottles, and bags. It set sail on January 24th from Lamu Islands, Kenya, to raise awareness about marine plastic pollution. The boat will travel 5,100 kilometers, stopping in towns like Mombasa, Dayani, and Watamu, before reaching Stone Town in Zanzibar. The journey is expected to take 12 to 14 days.
