Tokyo Gov. To Work With Japanese PM On Coronavirus Response

Tokyo has seen a significant rise in COVID-19 cases, with over 100 new daily cases reported for five consecutive days. Governor Yuriko Koike, recently reelected, is urging residents to limit travel and plans to establish a CDC-like group to manage the pandemic response. If the situation allows, a simplified version of the Olympics will be held in 2021, but they will be canceled if not feasible.
