VOICED : Detienen a hermano de expresidente colombiano Uribe

Santiago Uribe, brother of former Colombian President Álvaro Uribe, was arrested on charges of homicide and links to right-wing militias. His lawyers deny the accusations, claiming they are based on false testimonies, and plan to appeal to the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights. The investigation began in 2013, focusing on the alleged creation of the paramilitary group Los 12 Apóstoles, responsible for numerous deaths in Antioquia. Álvaro Uribe, a critic of peace talks with the Farc, has not commented on his brother's arrest.
