Innovative Student Designs Bomb-Proof Litter Bin to Enhance Security

James Jarrett, a 21-year-old student, has developed a prototype litter bin that can detect and contain explosives. The bin features a tamper-proof design with a clamshell opening, allowing regular waste to pass through while diverting suspicious items to a bomb-proof container. This container is similar to air cargo containers, made of Kepler and designed to withstand blasts. James plans to pursue a Master's degree to further develop his invention into a commercial product.
