VOICED: Tunisians struggle to cope with Libyan refugees

A Libyan family, among many others, found refuge in Tunisia after fleeing conflict. They were welcomed by a local merchant, Mohammed Lazreg, and have been living rent-free. The influx of refugees has strained local resources, with many relying on the generosity of ordinary Tunisians. Community centers have been set up to provide shelter and activities for children. However, the region is not wealthy, and resources are dwindling. Volunteers are concerned about the lack of international aid, especially for essential items like medicine. Despite these challenges, the refugees remain hopeful for peace, especially with the birth of a new family member.
