Smart vents to save energy – CES 2015

The Keen Home Smart Vent is a modernized air vent designed to optimize airflow in homes. It is installed in less-used rooms and pairs with a home's network to automatically adjust airflow. The vent features sensors for temperature, proximity, and pressure, and aims for a two-year battery life. Safety measures ensure HVAC system health. NSF funding supports research to enhance algorithms and prepare for market launch.
