VOICED : Francia desarma milicias en Republica Cen

In Bangui, the capital of the Central African Republic, the French army began disarming militias. Exclusive AFP footage shows soldiers detaining suspected members of the mostly Muslim Seleka coalition. Some ex-rebels were arrested but later released. With UN support, 1,600 French soldiers have been deployed to help restore security. The country has been in chaos since the Seleka coalition ousted President François Bozizé in March. A transitional government lost control, leading to violent clashes between Christian and Muslim groups. Nearly 400 people have died in recent violence in Bangui.
