Chevy, a key player for Barcelona, was born in Catalonia in 1980. He joined Barcelona's youth system at 11 and quickly advanced, becoming a pivotal player for Basavi. By 1998, he debuted in the Spanish Super Cup and became the team's playmaker by 1999. Chevy represented Spain in the 2000 Sydney Olympics, 2002 FIFA World Cup, and Euro 2004. His skills helped Barcelona win the LA Leisure title in 2005. Despite an injury in late 2005, Chevy recovered to play in the 2006 FIFA World Cup.
