VOICED : Mexico despide a Garcia Marquez

Mexico began the farewell to Gabriel García Márquez, with a ceremony at the Palacio de Bellas Artes attended by family, friends, and dignitaries, including the presidents of Colombia and Mexico. García Márquez, a Nobel laureate and renowned author, passed away in Mexico City. His ashes were placed in a wooden urn with yellow flowers. Future tributes are planned, and his family is deciding on the final resting place for his ashes, possibly splitting them between Mexico and his birthplace, Aracataca, Colombia.
