VOICED : Vice de Ecuador detenido sera acusado por caso Odebrecht

The Ecuadorian prosecutor's office announced charges against Vice President Jorge Glass for his involvement in the Odebrecht bribery scandal. The prosecutor's office decided not to charge José Conceizao Santos Filho, a former Odebrecht director in Ecuador, as he was already convicted in Brazil. Santos Filho admitted to paying $16 million in bribes to Glass, who was responsible for strategic sectors during Rafael Correa's presidency. Glass, stripped of his duties by President Lenín Moreno, claims the process is flawed and politically influenced. The Odebrecht case involves political figures and former presidents from 12 countries in Latin America and Africa, accused of accepting bribes for public works contracts.
