VOICED : Turistas rusos son evacuados en vuelos chárter desde Cuba

Over 900 Russian tourists flew back from Varadero, Cuba, due to international sanctions on Russian flights following the invasion of Ukraine. Many had to cut their vacations short, losing money in the process. Cuban media reported that 5,570 Russians would return via Nordwind charter flights. Regular flights by Nordwind, Aeroflot, and Azur Air were suspended. Additionally, a group of tourists from the Dominican Republic, where over 14,000 Russians and 1,900 Ukrainians were stranded, also returned. Dominican authorities ensured accommodation for these tourists until a solution for their return was found.
