A rare Hebrew papyrus, dating back 2700 years, was presented by the Israel Antiquities Authority. The document, discovered in the USA, is one of only three from the biblical era due to Israel's humid climate. It highlights the use of papyrus for official correspondence in the Iron Age. The fragment, written in paleohebrew, was inherited by a man in Montana. It was brought to the USA in the 1960s by a woman interested in archaeology. Despite preservation challenges, its authenticity was confirmed through paleographic and carbon-14 dating.
