VOICED : Brasil suspende Whatsapp por 72 horas

The Brazilian judiciary suspended WhatsApp for 72 hours due to Facebook's failure to provide information related to a drug trafficking investigation. Judge Marcel Montalbán from Lagarto Sergipe made this decision after the Federal Police's request. Previously, the same judge ordered the detention of Facebook's VP for Latin America, Diego Dossan. In December 2015, WhatsApp faced a similar blockade, which was later lifted by an appeals court.
