NASA discovers ‘most similar planet to Earth’ ever found

Kepler 1649-C, discovered by the Kepler spacecraft, is an exoplanet similar in size to Earth, with a surface temperature potentially conducive to liquid water. It orbits a red dwarf star closely, completing a year in just 19.5 Earth days, and lies within the habitable Goldilocks zone. The planet has a neighboring planet, Kepler 1649-B, and their orbital resonance suggests the possible presence of another, yet undetected, planet.
