VOICED: Bio battle to save DRC's forests

The Bioeconomy Integrated Farm aims to reduce deforestation in the Democratic Republic of Congo by developing a biogas system using waste materials. This system, designed by an Ethiopian researcher, converts animal and plant waste into biogas and organic fertilizers. The biogas, once purified, can be used for lighting and cooking, offering a sustainable and cost-effective energy source. The project faces challenges, including the need to train thousands of farmers in a vast country like the DRC.
