Sinopharm has five projects in phase three trials and has applied for approval. The vaccine's efficacy is lower than Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna, which exceed 94%. AstraZeneca's vaccine, developed with Oxford, shows 70% efficacy, potentially reaching 100% with two doses.
