Venezuelan opposition clashed with security forces in Caracas to protest against President Nicolás Maduro. The march aimed to reach the Ministry of Defense to urge the military to withdraw support for Maduro and stop the repression of protests, which have resulted in 58 deaths over 56 days. The opposition also called for the rejection of Maduro's constituent assembly, accusing him of avoiding general elections. Amidst a severe economic crisis with high inflation and shortages, seven out of ten Venezuelans reportedly disapprove of Maduro's leadership.
