VOICED : Rusia prohibirá vender petróleo a partir de febrero a países que apliquen tope al precio

Russia has banned the sale of its oil to countries that impose a price cap, as per a decree by President Vladimir Putin. This ban is effective from February 1 to July 1, 2023, with exceptions possible under special presidential decisions. In December, the EU, G7, and Australia agreed on a $60 per barrel price cap for Russian oil transported by sea. This measure aims to reduce Moscow's significant oil revenue and its ability to fund military actions in Ukraine. Despite this, Russia remains confident in finding new buyers and claims the price cap will not affect its military campaign.
