Sloth

Sloths are known for their minimal physical activity, spending most of their time hanging in trees, often upside down and half asleep. They descend from the canopy once a week to urinate and defecate. Their diet mainly consists of leaves, which are low in nutrition and take a long time to digest, leading them to move slowly to conserve energy. Sloths can sleep up to 18 hours a day, using their claws to hang effortlessly from branches. Despite being the slowest mammals, their slow movement makes them hard to detect by predators, providing a survival advantage.
