Plants need 3 things to grow. ​ (a)   gives plants energy through a process called photosynthesis. ​ (b)   helps move nutrients through the plant and keeps it from drying out. ​ (c)   like nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium help the plant build strong roots, stems, and leaves.
