VOICED : Mas de medio millon cruzaron el Mediterraneo en 2015

In 2015, over half a million migrants and refugees reached Europe via the Mediterranean. The UN reported that 380,000 arrived in Greece and 129,000 in Italy, with 71% of those reaching Greek islands being Syrian. Lesbos sees around 4,000 migrants daily. Despite European rescue efforts, the Mediterranean remains perilous, with 3,500 deaths or disappearances reported.
