Maryland, in collaboration with Kaiser Health News, has updated its COVID-19 vaccination plan to enhance distribution. The plan includes the National Guard's assistance and 700 volunteers to aid in vaccination efforts. Governor Larry Hogan warns hospitals to use 75% of their vaccine doses or face reduced future allocations. CVS Health is on track to complete its first round of vaccinations in nursing homes by January 25th, covering 49 states and the District of Columbia. Additionally, 3000 to 6000 pharmacies are expected to begin administering vaccines within two weeks.
