VOICED : Banco Mundial anuncia suspensión de programas de ayuda en Rusia y Bielorrusia

The World Bank has suspended aid programs in Russia and Belarus in response to the invasion of Ukraine. The bank was involved in 11 projects in Belarus and 4 in Russia, totaling over $1.5 billion. No new loans have been approved for Russia since 2014. The World Bank is preparing $3 billion in emergency aid for Ukraine, with $350 million available immediately. The invasion by Russia has led to widespread condemnation and economic sanctions from Western countries.
