Nepal

Nepal is a small, landlocked country bordered by India and China. It is known for its diverse culture, with over 100 languages spoken and a majority Hindu population. The country is home to the Himalayas, including Mount Everest, and has a varied climate. Kathmandu, the capital, is rich in history and was heavily affected by a 2015 earthquake. Despite economic challenges, Nepal attracts tourists for its natural beauty. Historically, Nepal was unified in the 1700s by Prithvi Narayan Shah and transitioned from a monarchy to a republic in 2008.
