Senator Menendez has called for an investigation into the use of personal cell phones by senior US diplomats for sensitive national security matters. This request follows revelations from the impeachment inquiry into President Trump, which showed that U.S. ambassador to the EU, Gordon Ssam Lindh, used his personal phone to contact Trump from Ukraine. Menendez has asked for a response from the Bureau of Diplomatic Security by December 2nd.
