CLEAN : Amnesty appeals for South Sudanese refugees in Uganda

Uganda has a progressive approach to hosting refugees, offering them freedom of movement, access to social services, and opportunities to work and start businesses. However, as refugee numbers rise, the global community, especially countries like the US, EU, Canada, China, and Japan, must share responsibility by addressing funding gaps and increasing resettlement opportunities. Additionally, efforts should focus on tackling the root causes of displacement.
