Exploring the Unconventional: Giant Camera Obscura and Ghostly Investigations

In California, six photographers transformed an aircraft hangar into a giant camera obscura, using a large piece of fabric as the negative. This project aimed to break records and involved a 35-minute exposure to capture a panoramic image. The process revealed unexpected textural effects and aberrations due to the emulsion's hand coating. The hangar was later demolished, marking it as the world's largest disposable camera. Meanwhile, in France, a group of amateur investigators used digital cameras to explore the legend of the ghost of Chateau de Vos, a tale involving a tragic love story from the 1560s. Despite recording 20 hours of footage, they found no evidence of the ghost.
