Hong Kong has returned to normalcy after months of protests, with traffic flowing uninterrupted. The police dismantled the pro-democracy activists' camp, arresting over 200 people without disturbances. This marks a temporary end to Hong Kong's biggest political crisis since its 1997 handover to China. Protesters, however, vow to continue demanding true universal suffrage and criticize Beijing's control over local executive candidates. Despite this, few believe public space occupations will be the stage for new protests in the near future.
