Why Do We Ride Horses But Not Zebras

Zebras, though similar to horses, cannot be ridden due to their aggressive nature and physical limitations. Historically, humans have had a complex relationship with zebras, viewing them as prey, which has contributed to their fear of humans. Zebras evolved in predator-rich environments, making them more aggressive and less suitable for domestication. Attempts to domesticate zebras, especially during the Victorian era, largely failed due to their temperament and physical traits. Today, zebras remain undomesticated, with modern transportation like Jeeps replacing the need to ride them.
