Brain to brain technology on rats

Two rats are trained to press a lever when a light indicator is on, receiving water as a reward. Their brains are connected using microelectrodes, allowing them to be separated by large distances. The encoder rat sees a light and presses a lever, sending a signal to the decoder rat. If the decoder rat presses the correct lever, both receive water. If incorrect, the encoder rat's brain signal strengthens.
