Coronavirus Cases On Quarantined Cruise Ship Jump To 174

The Diamond Princess cruise ship in Japan has reported at least 174 cases of COVID-19 among passengers and crew. The ship is docked in Yokohama and has been under quarantine since February 3rd. Infected individuals are being taken to hospitals, while others remain on board for health screenings. Over 490 tests have been conducted, focusing on the elderly and symptomatic individuals. With over 3700 people initially on board, Japan is expanding testing capabilities by involving private facilities, increasing daily tests from 300 to 1000.
