VOICED : Colombia quiere que ONU supervise el cese al fuego del ELN

The Colombian government announced that UN observers, who have been aiding in the FARC demobilization, will oversee a temporary ceasefire with the ELN starting October 1. The ceasefire will last until January 12, during which kidnappings will cease. A Russian-Armenian hostage died while trying to escape ELN captivity. The ELN remains the only active guerrilla group in Colombia after the FARC's disarmament and transformation into a political party.
