Tesla may power Greek islands using new microgrids

Tesla has proposed a plan to Greek officials to reduce the country's reliance on fossil fuels by transitioning to renewable energy sources. The proposal includes creating a micro grid with energy storage systems to power remote Greek islands not connected to the main power grid. Tesla's Power Packs, which are rechargeable batteries storing energy from renewable sources, will be used. A large array of solar panels will be installed to power these storage facilities during the day, with the stored energy used at night.
