Pope Francis will visit Chile from January 15 for three days, aiming to ease tensions with the Mapuche people over land rights. His itinerary includes Santiago, Temuco, and Iquique. Despite security concerns in Araucanía, the Pope has not requested extra measures. In Santiago, he will conduct a mass, meet President Bachelet, visit a women's prison, and engage with youth.
