VOICED : Cuba prueba en Italia eficacia de su vacuna anticovid para convalecientes

Cuba is testing its COVID-19 vaccine, Soberana Plus, aimed at recovering patients. BioCuba Pharma reports strong neutralization against beta and delta variants in Italian trials. Soberana Plus is a single-dose vaccine and a booster after two doses of Soberana 2. Another vaccine, Abdala, is also developed in Cuba. All Cuban vaccines await WHO approval and are based on a SARS-CoV-2 protein. They claim over 90% efficacy in preventing symptomatic disease. Cuba has vaccinated 55.8% of its population with its vaccines.
