First-ever mobile coronavirus test lab made from shipping containers: study

Contain labs are mobile, low-cost, and scalable units for COVID-19 testing, designed to be open source and rated Biosafety Level 2 Plus. Each lab requires minimal staffing and uses automation for sample processing and RNA extraction. The labs can conduct up to 2400 tests per day, with results sent electronically to health agencies. They can be scaled by stacking multiple units to form large diagnostic centers.
