Google Co-Founders Step Down From CEO And President Roles At Alphabet

Larry Page and Sergey Brin are stepping down from their roles as CEO and president of Alphabet, the parent company of Google. They co-founded Google over two decades ago and established Alphabet in 2015 to separate Google from other ventures. Sundar Pichai, the current CEO of Google, will take over as CEO of Alphabet while maintaining his role at Google. Page and Brin will remain as shareholders and board members, citing that Alphabet and Google no longer need two CEOs and a president. They expressed their belief in stepping aside when a better management approach is available.
