VOICED : Deportados de EEUU llegan a Honduras

A group of children and their mothers were deported from the US to Honduras, marking the first accelerated repatriation flight amid a humanitarian crisis. Since last October, over 50,000 unaccompanied minors have entered the US illegally, mostly from Honduras, El Salvador, and Guatemala, fleeing violence. The First Lady of Honduras, Ana García, led the reception of the deportees. Authorities are working on detaining unauthorized minors and launching a campaign to discourage risky emigration. Additionally, over 250 Hondurans were deported from Mexico by land. The US government emphasized that illegal immigrants will not be welcomed.
