VOICED : Huracan Patricia azota el oeste de Mexico

Hurricane Patricia, a Category 5 storm, struck the Pacific coast of Mexico near Jalisco with sustained winds of 260 km/h. Despite a slight decrease in intensity, it remained extremely dangerous. Tourists unable to leave sought refuge with the Red Cross, while authorities issued maximum alerts for potential catastrophic effects. Massive evacuations were conducted, including 21,000 Mexican and 7,000 foreign tourists from Puerto Vallarta. The government organized evacuations, closed ports, and planned power cuts. Before reaching Mexico, Patricia had record-breaking winds of 325 km/h.
