VOICE : La UE propone hasta 100.000 millones de euros para apoyar empleo frente a crisis

The COVID-19 pandemic halted economic activities globally. In response, the European Commission proposed a plan to mobilize up to 100 billion euros in loans to support the most affected EU member states, ensuring salaries and preventing layoffs. This initiative aims to strengthen part-time work programs across the EU. Spain, heavily impacted with high unemployment rates, stands to benefit significantly. The proposal will be presented to EU finance ministers on April 7 for a coordinated crisis response.
