VOICED : Comisión Constitucional de Chile empezará a discutir nueva Carta Magna

The Chilean Constitutional Convention is working on drafting a new constitution, replacing the one from Pinochet's era. The convention, formed after 2019 protests, aims to address public demands for better health, education, and pensions. It has nine months, extendable to a year, to complete its task. Proposals from citizens and members will be debated, with a draft expected by June. The new constitution will be plebiscited this year.
